The Chargers are 1-0 after notching a 22-10 win over the Raiders in Week 1.

Justin Herbert, Derwin James, Denzel Perryman, Khalil Mack, Rashawn Slater and Bradley Bozeman were the Chargers captains. The Raiders won the toss and elected to defer as the Bolts started on offense at the 36-yard line after Derius Davis had a 35-yard kickoff return. The Bolts advanced past midfield but were eventually forced to punt after Herbert was sacked on third down. The Raiders went three-and-out after the Bolts defense stuffed back-to-back run plays. The Bolts offense then went three-and-out.
The Raiders faced fourth-and-1 at their own 41-yard line on the ensuing drive but a run was stopped by Poona Ford for a tackle for loss. The Bolts took advantage of the solid field position with points as Cameron Dicker hit a 53-yard field goal for an early 3-0 lead. The Raiders picked up a pair of third-down conversions through the air before scoring on a 31-yard pass play. The Bolts trailed 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.
